Dr. Whitney Davidson
Dr. Davidson’s professional career began at the College of St. Scholastica, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing. Nursing provided the perfect foundation to gain a deep understanding of whole-body health, wellness, and integrative health care.
In 2006, Dr. Davidson received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. She then practiced general dentistry in Duluth, MN for 14 years. Throughout her time in Duluth, she progressed from associate dentist to dental practice owner.
During her time in Duluth, Dr. Davidson continued to pursue additional training in airway management, sleep apnea therapy, orofacial pain/TMD, and orthodontics. In 2020, Dr. Davidson accepted an opportunity to assist in the start-up of a Pediatric Dental Airway Clinic in South Carolina. This experience awakened within her the desire to provide integrative, airway-focused, biological dentistry to both adults and children back in her home state of MN. Dr. Davidson is delighted to be a part of Team TKDDS! She is excited to share her passion through patient education and serve the TKDDS Dental Health Community in optimizing health and wellness.
Dr. Davidson has many interests outside of dentistry including spending time with her husband Kelly, and sons Gus and Ike. Together, they enjoy hiking, mountain biking, skiing (both Nordic and Alpine), gardening, and anything active outside. Dr. Davidson also enjoys quiet, cozy indoor activities like cooking, baking sourdough bread, and reading.
